Estudio comparativo del grado de la disfunción temporomandibular en relación al periodo menstrual en alumnas de la facultad de estomatología de la Universidad Inca Garcilaso de la Vega

Abstract

La disfunción temporomandibular es la alteración de la articulación temporomandibular dada por un suceso que paso el nivel tolerado por sus componentes, las hormonas femeninas juegan un rol importante como factor de riesgo de las disfunciones. El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar la comparación del grado de disfunción temporomandibular en relación al periodo menstrual en alumnas de la Facultad de Estomatología de la Universidad Inca Garcilaso de la Vega.

Introduction; Temporomandibular disorders is is the alteration of the temporomandibular joint given by an event that passed the tolerated level of components, female hormones play an important role as a risk factor of dysfunctions. The objective of this investigation was to determine the comparison of the degree of temporomandibular dysfunction in relation to the menstrual period in students of the Faculty of Stomatology of the Inca Garcilaso de la Vega University.
